Dear Colleague,

The EU bureaucracy is emerging as one of the greatest threats to democracy. It is robbing the people of Europe of their sovereignty. Now, the EU wants to use Google, Meta, and other tech giants to suppress criticism of trans policies and open borders across the entire world. Stefano Gennarini, J.D., has the story.

The Trump administration pulled the U.S. out of the UN Human Rights Council, but during President Trump's first term, the U.S. continued to engage with the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), where countries review each other's human rights records.  In this second term, the U.S. has stopped making recommendations during other countries' reviews, and it remains to be seen whether the U.S. will take part in its own scheduled review in November. Rebecca Oas, Ph.D., will explain.

Yours sincerely,

Lisa Correnti

However, there are questions about whether the Trump administration will actually participate in the process, which operates under the oversight of the UN Human Rights Council, which the Trump administration has criticized as anti-Israel and lacking credibility. Read more >>
