National day of action - Good Trouble Lives On (TODAY - July 17, 2025)

We are facing the most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations. That's why today, 5 years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, we're cosponsoring this day of Good Trouble.

Whether you're outraged by attacks on our civil rights, the gutting of essential services, disappearances of our neighbors, or the assault on free speech and our right to organize – join us in making Good Trouble.

Opening a new health clinic in Gaza
Thursday, July 24th, 2:00pm ET

Project Rozana, a longtime partner of NJN’s that works to promote cooperation between Palestinians and Israelis in healthcare, is working to open a new health care clinic in Gaza – an initiative that NJN is proudly supporting. Join us for webinar on July 24th at 2:00pm ET with two Project Rozana leaders: Mohammad Asideh, Director of Advocacy and the Executive Director of the Rozana’s Palestine office, and Ken Bob, Chair of Project Rozana USA (and an NJN board member).

We’ll discuss the goals of the project, the challenges of operating in Gaza today, and how you can help support this life-affirming work.

In the midst of devastation, this initiative is a way to say, clearly and proudly, that our Jewish values call us to care for all human lives — not just in words, but in action. (If you want to join in, make your gift here and put the words “Gaza Clinic” in the “comments” box.)

Urge your members of Congress to support the West Bank Violence Prevention Act.

Settler violence is on the rise. Just in the last week, multiple young Palestinians – including a Palestinian-American – were killed in settler attacks. This violent extremism must stop. Click below to urge your members of Congress to support the West Bank Violence Prevention Act.

Odeh Impeachment Campaign is an Attack on Democracy

July 14, 2025 - The Knesset vote on the impeachment of MK Ayman Odeh fell short of the 90 votes needed to force him out of office.

New Jewish Narrative stands in firm opposition to the effort to impeach Ayman Odeh from the Knesset. This move was not only politically motivated—it is dangerous. It is a strike against democratic norms in Israel and an intensification of efforts to silence Palestinian citizens of Israel and their elected representatives.

NJN's Hadar Susskind hosted the Habonim Dror Camp Moshava Madatz (rising high school seniors) in our office for a discussion about Israel and Palestine, Zionism, and how Habonim and NJN can partner together and support each other.

Peace Now sounds alarm on Israeli government's plan for E-1

Peace Now sounded the alarm about moves to advance settlement construction east of Jerusalem in a way that would cut the West Bank in two and prevent the development of the metropolitan area between Ramallah, East Jerusalem, and Bethlehem.  Efforts to promote the E1 plan date back to the 1990s, but due to opposition within Israel and internationally, the plan had stalled until Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started advancing it.
