Loretta Ross

Activist, Public Intellectual, Professor

Loretta J. Ross is an activist, professor, and public intellectual who has spent five decades in the human rights movement. A cofounder of the National Center for Human Rights Education and SisterSong, she is a 2022 MacArthur Fellow and 2024 National Women’s Hall of Fame inductee. Ross is an associate professor at Smith College and founder of LoRossta Consulting, offering “Calling In” training sessions nationwide.
