I’ve been sounding the alarm on how Trump’s tariffs are going to raise
prices for families, on everything from toys to food.

This week, official government figures confirm that inflation is getting
worse because of tariffs.

I know that inflation isn’t just a number. It’s families making tough
choices about whether they can wait to buy their kids new shoes, or
putting that package of blueberries back on the shelf.

Our leaders should be doing everything they can to bring costs down.
Instead, Donald Trump is picking petty fights and forcing through
legislation to give billionaires a tax break.

I’m running for California Governor to make life easier for families. That
means bringing everyone to the table to work on bringing down big costs
like housing and child care, and holding the Trump administration to
account when they hurt Californians.
