These are his own words: “I’m homophobic, I admit it, I have a problem with it.” He’s admitted — several times — to being homophobic. And, as a member of the Ohio legislature, he voted for a bill that would have banned same-sex marriage. These are terrible things for anyone — especially someone running for office — to be saying. Emilia’s opponent is running to bring his anti-LGBTQ+ positions to the national stage! We have to stand up and fight back now to protect hard-earned LGBTQ+ rights from him and all his Republican allies. Emilia has been a strong defender of LGBTQ+ rights in Congress, John.
