PJI Rep. Ogles Lead Capitol Hill Presser on DOJ Targeting of School Parents
July 17, 2025
Dossier Detailed DOJ Weaponization, Featured Dozens of Parent Testimonies, Called for Executive Order to Provide Restitution
Washington, D.C.—On Tuesday, July 15, 2025 Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles and the Parents Demanding Justice Alliance (PDJA) held a press conference at the House Triangle to submit a landmark 33-page dossier titled “Testimonies of Parents Targeted by DOJ Weaponization: 2021–2025” to the Federal Weaponization Working Group.
The report, compiled by PDJA in coordination with dozens of impacted families, documented widespread federal targeting, surveillance, and intimidation against parents who peacefully exercised their constitutional rights to speak at school board meetings in defense of their children’s innocence.
“This press conference was about reclaiming the First Amendment,” said Ogles. “What these parents endured was un-American, unconstitutional, and unacceptable. We intended to get answers—and restore justice.”
“This was not about politics,” said PDJA Co-Founders Sam Sorbo and Kelly John Walker. “It was about truth, accountability, and healing. We called on all Americans to stand with these courageous parents.”
