In recent months, the National Committee has been on the front lines defending Medicaid, SNAP nutrition programs, Social Security and Medicare from harmful cuts and reckless policy proposals. Congress has already slashed Medicaid and SNAP which will impact seniors’ access to health care, in-home support services and vital nutrition programs.

Now, so-called “entitlement reform” proposals are looming for Social Security and Medicare.
