Subject: Get into Good Trouble this month
Hi John!
“Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get into good trouble, necessary trouble.”
– Rep. John Lewis
Civil rights leader and long-serving member of Congress from Georgia John Lewis coined “good trouble” as the act of coming together to take peaceful, nonviolent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change.
July 17 marks five years since his passing. To honor his legacy, Americans across the country are coming together to show that Good Trouble Lives On.
Join any or all of these upcoming volunteer opportunities and protect voting rights with Good Trouble!
