Normally, I wouldn’t worry too much. This grassroots team has always shown up when it counts. But this time, the stakes are higher than ever.

One of my opponents just made a massive ad buy here in Illinois. He’s using his $20 million war chest, built with corporate PAC donations and special interest money, to flood the airwaves and drown out our grassroots, people-powered campaign.

Our campaign must meet the urgency of the moment — because if we fall short, we won’t have the resources to fight back and make sure Illinois hears our working-family agenda.

We can't risk losing ground in a race this important. Illinois deserves better than politics as usual. We need leaders with fresh perspectives, a record of real results, and a commitment to fighting for working families, not corporate special interests.
