[link removed] [[link removed]] In 2024, we made enormous strides. We celebrated the opening of our tenth Child Advocate Program site in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We joined a coalition of immigrant rights organizations to raise $3 million to ensure that approximately 500 separated families received full legal representation at no cost. We welcomed our third cohort of fellows who participated in the Elizabeth Frankel Fellowship Program. Most critically, we engaged in comprehensive contingency planning to ensure we remain strong, strategic, and ready to protect unaccompanied immigrant children, no matter what lies ahead.

But we remain more determined than ever to fight for a system that centers the rights and best interests of immigrant children.

We are excited to introduce our newest Young Center Board Members!
* Enrique Espinoza is a bilingual immigration attorney based in Chicago, Illinois. He currently serves as a Staff Attorney at the Immigration Law Clinic at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he provides legal representation and mentorship.
* Renée Ahlers Beckoff is currently Senior Counsel, Head of Governance, at Bridgewater Associates, LP. She began her legal career in the Latin America practice group of Cleary Gottlieb, with a focus on international capital markets, cross-border transactions, and SEC reporting.
* Sara J. Chipps is a veteran software-engineering leader and community builder dedicated to expanding opportunity through technology education. She co-founded Girl Develop It, a nonprofit that has empowered more than 100,000 women and non-binary adults to learn coding skills, and has served on the Boards of Directors for both the OpenJS Foundation and the .NET Foundation.
