Good Trouble Lives On — Honor John Lewis’s Legacy with Action
Today, we invite you to show up in the spirit of good trouble.
Join us for the Good Trouble Lives On National Day of Action honoring the legacy of civil rights hero John Lewis. This event is about continuing the fight for democracy, voting rights, and justice. We are proud to share that Morgan Harper, co-founder of Columbus Stand Up!, will be speaking!
📍 Second Baptist Church (186 N 17th St, Columbus, OH)
🕟 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
🗓️ TODAY, Thursday, July 17
This event features powerful voices including Catherine Turcer, Deidra Reese, Pastor Brian K. Holland, and our own Morgan Harper. Together, we’ll honor John Lewis’s call to “get in good trouble, necessary trouble” and push for a democracy that works for all of us.
Right after, head over to the Ohio Statehouse for a 50501 Columbus protest. Demanding accountability and fighting back against attacks on democracy happening here in Ohio.

This is a moment to build power. Not just remember history, but shape it. Whether you can make it to one or both events, your presence matters. Be there. Be loud. Let’s make it impossible to ignore us.
