The Hill: "Trump refers to coronavirus as 'kung flu' during Tulsa rally"

Team,

Words matter. Especially when they come from the President of the United States.

At his latest rally, President Trump again fanned racial flames -- calling the coronavirus the "Chinese plague" and the "kung flu." His prejudiced remarks come at a time when there is a growing concern around reports of discrimination against the Asian American community related to the coronavirus pandemic. We must take a stand:

Add your name: Discrimination and racism are wrong. Sign your name to stand in solidarity with the Asian American community in the face of Trump's latest attack»

Xenophobia and racism are wrong.

Here in California, we value our Asian American community -- and all our diverse communities -- and we honor their countless contributions to our state.

As Americans, we have a duty to stand up to racism, in all of its forms. In the face of any xenophobic and racist attacks, will you sign your name to stand with us to denounce hate?

Join Xavier in standing with the Asian American community by adding your name now. Xenophobia, racism, and discrimination have no place in America. Sign now»

Racism -- against Asian Americans, African Americans, Latinos, and all our communities -- is not welcome here. Let's keep fighting, together, to make that clear.
