Patriot, I wanted to take a break from the heat for a little bit, and I hope you can join me while I tell you a little bit about my story.
Before I start, it's a pleasure to connect with you. My name is Javier Lopez, and I'm running for Congress here in California.
In the late 1970s, my parents left Jalisco, Mexico, in search of a better future. They first settled in Los Angeles before my mom and aunts moved to Ceres. My mother worked hard. She spent hours picking strawberries on Morgan Road, and we lived in the Ceres Labor Camp. Her goal was to build a new life and give us the opportunity to have the American Dream.
A few years later, my father joined us, and together, we put down roots in our community. I have proudly called Ceres home since the age of five.
I wouldn't blame you if you don't know where that is, but it was our slice of America. Building a life there was hard work, as an immigrant family we didn't have anything handed to us; we worked for everything. I'm so thankful to my parents - I know it wasn't easy for them to leave behind everything they knew. But I wouldn't trade my experience for anything; we built our American dream as a family.
Before entering public service, I spent 18 years in the fire suppression industry, excelling as a programmer and lead technician. I'll be honest, that work made me the man I am today. It gave me a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Today, I'm proud to call myself one of America's small business owners.
I never imagined getting into politics; I just wanted my family to be happy. But I'm sick and tired of the out-of-touch politicians who've never walked our streets, who've never struggled to put food on the table for their family, or $5 bucks of gas in their tanks just to make it home from work, telling us they are on our team.
They don't know us - or our struggles.
You can only get beat down so much before you have to take a stand, and that's why I eventually said ENOUGH.
In 2020, I made some headlines by defeating a 13-year City Council incumbent to become Mayor of Ceres, running on a "back to basics" platform focused on responsible spending and public safety.
I don't like to grandstand or boast, but under my leadership, the city increased pay for all staff, including firefighters and police officers, repaired roads to improve traffic safety, and attracted new businesses, fostering economic growth. I was proud to be re-elected in 2024.
That's my story for now. But I'm getting ready to write a new chapter.
I've seen how the only thing holding us back is the Democrats; they've managed the country about as well as they managed Ceres, and that's why I'm taking my fight to Congress.
My race will be one of the most competitive and expensive in America. The Cook Political Report has already marked this race a competitive TOSS-UP, and President Trump won in our district. Which means all eyes will be on our race and how we perform out of the gate.
As much as I hate to say this, and I know how hard you've worked for your money, I am humbly asking for your donation.
If you have ANYTHING to spare, every single penny can help us save the Republican majority and strike a blow at the heart of the left's resurging agenda.

Folks in Washington and Sacramento stopped listening. They think they know better. They pass laws that hurt working families in small towns like ours. I believe real solutions don't come from the top down. They come from the bottom up. They come from you. They come from our families, their churches, their businesses, and your neighborhoods.
I'm ready for Congress to give normal Americans a voice again, because I know what people want: a country that pulls together again, a return to common sense.
The Democrats will do anything to keep their seat, because our Republican majority is so small, a loss here in California would be detrimental to them.
Let's win this seat and start taking real action, not just talking about it like the Democrats do.

Thank you,
Javier Lopez
