Let me tell you a little secret. Back in my Republican days, when we Republican Members of Congress huddled privately, we’d often laugh about how easily we could outfight Democrats. Because we knew we’d go to the mat to score politically, we’d fight to the death to win, and the Democrats wouldn’t. We always knew the Democrats would bring a PowerPoint to a gun fight.
My former Republican colleagues still think that way about Democrats. MAGA Republicans swear by it, in fact. And I gotta tell ya, as someone who formally became a Democrat just over a month ago…...
