Hi friend,

Right now, House Republicans are pushing a rescissions package that will strip
funding from PEPFAR — one of the most successful global health programs in
history, responsible for saving over 25 million lives from HIV/AIDS.

This is not new spending. This is money Congress already appropriated —
funding that partners around the world are counting on to deliver treatment,
medication, and hope to people who have nowhere else to turn.

If this package passes, it will be a death sentence. Thousands of people —
including children — will be cut off from life-saving care. Not because we
can’t afford it. Not because it doesn’t work. But because Republicans want to
tear it down anyway.

This is cruelty, plain and simple. It betrays decades of bipartisan
commitment, global leadership, and moral clarity. And it will cost lives.

I’m doing everything in my power to stop this reckless package from moving
forward. But I need your help. We need to raise our voices — loudly, urgently,
and together — to say this cannot happen.

Lives are on the line. We cannot stay silent.
