The Supreme Court just struck another blow to women’s reproductive freedom in their latest ruling

Folks, the Supreme Court just struck another blow to women’s reproductive freedom. Take a look:

AP: U.S. Supreme Court allows states to block Medicaid funding from Planned Parenthood clinics

Years after overturning Roe v. Wade and ripping up nearly 50 years of precedent to attack women's reproductive freedom, the U.S. Supreme Court just ruled that states can BAN Medicaid recipients from receiving care at Planned Parenthood clinics, potentially leaving millions of women in Republican-controlled states without access to critical health care services.

With this 6-3 ruling, SCOTUS just gave the green light to anti-choice lawmakers to further squeeze Planned Parenthood clinics, pressuring them to shut down due to lack of funding. And this latest attack on reproductive freedom comes just as Republicans in Congress passed the steepest cuts to Medicaid in the nation's history.

National Republicans are sending a clear message with this move: They will stop at absolutely nothing in their quest to destroy reproductive freedom nationwide, no matter how much pain it causes.

Colorado voters rejected this nonsense in the last election when we enshrined this freedom into our state’s Constitution – but John knows we need to defend and restore reproductive freedom nationwide.

Every woman in this country deserves the freedom to make her own health care decisions — without meddling politicians butting into the equation. If you agree, please, sign our petition to condemn this ruling and DEFEND Planned Parenthood. →
