John,

In less than a week, lawmakers will get to work on an agenda set by Gov. Greg Abbott to address more than a dozen items. The question is: will they do it?

The 89th Legislature returns to Austin on July 21, with Gov. Abbott calling for action on everything from property tax relief and taxpayer-funded lobbying to abortion restrictions, emergency response improvements, and more.

It’s a lot to tackle in a short amount of time—and even more to track.

Texas Scorecard is on your side every step of the way.

As we did throughout the regular session, we’ll relentlessly report on every vote that will impact you and your community.

We’re not here to play nice with lobbyists in the Austin sewer. We exist to keep citizens like you informed with the facts, in context, so you can evaluate your lawmakers and effectively grow your own influence.

Can we count on your support to keep this critical work going?
