I'm stepping up because too many hardworking people in Arkansas and across the country are being shoved to the back of the line. The farmer. The truck mechanic. The single mom pulling a double shift just to make ends meet. And for the last ten years, our current senator, Tom Cotton, has made their lives harder.
He voted against the Farm Bill – twice,
Handed tax breaks to billionaires while blue-collar families got squeezed,
And is more interested in chasing headlines than helping the people who actually make this state run.
Earlier this year, I had to make the hardest decision of my life: I shut down my family's farm, not because we didn't work hard, but because Washington's broken policies made it impossible to keep going.
So if I can't farm, I'm going to fight. For families. For fairness. For Arkansas.
This campaign is about making Arkansas work for the people who call it home. Folks who wake up early, do their jobs, raise their kids, and ask for nothing more than a fair shot. I'm running to ensure that family farmers aren't left behind, that programs like Medicaid and Social Security remain strong, and that we lower the cost of living so families can move forward, not fall behind.
Now here's the truth: To compete in this race, we need to prove Arkansas is in play, and that starts today.
I'm not a politician. I'm a farmer. And I'm running this campaign the same way I ran my farm – with grit, with honesty, and with everything I've got.
Let's get to work.
Hallie
