Add your name to the petition to call on the Department of Justice to release the Jeffrey Epstein files NOW.
Dear MoveOn member,
Ro Khanna here. Congress had the chance this week to pass an amendment that would force the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. I stood on the House floor this week and asked a straightforward question: “Whose side are you on? Are you on the side of the rich and powerful, or are you on the side of the people?"
Republicans in the House answered this question loud and clear with their vote, when they struck down the amendment—siding with the rich and the powerful. But we have the people on our side.
The pressure is building from across political backgrounds for the DOJ and the White House to release the files. Americans are unhappy with the limited amount of information that has been released from the DOJ’s investigation into the decades' worth of evidence documenting Epstein's abuse of children and sex trafficking—as well as those who aided in covering it up.1
And President Donald Trump is feeling the heat, as he scrambles to backtrack on his campaign promises as not only his fervent base but the general public demand answers.2
We need to demonstrate that the public will not look away from Epstein’s heinous crimes, or allow a powerful few to get away with abuse, trafficking, and lies. Will you sign the petition demanding Attorney General Bondi release the files immediately?
This is about transparency and justice. Epstein died in jail after he was charged with sex trafficking, the evidence and public scrutiny stacking up against him. The public was not able to access information that would have come out in trial, or details about Epstein’s death. And from the secrecy, conspiracy theories and rumors have swelled.3
People deserve the truth. And it’s the responsibility of the White House and DOJ to deliver it.
Attorney General Bondi previously told Fox News that she had files related to Epstein—including a client list—sitting on her desk.4 But now she's saying that no such file exists. This flip-flopping from high-ranking Trump officials only serves to sow distrust in the American people and stoke further conspiracy theories that leave us all in the dark.
Enough is enough. The evidence against Epstein was collected using taxpayer dollars—and taxpayers deserve to know the breadth of what was discovered.
Sign the petition, and then share with three friends to continue building the public pressure needed to compel the White House and Attorney General Bondi to release the documents.
Thanks for all you do.
–Ro Khanna
