How the Christian Worldview Inspires Uncommon Hope for Believers



We live in a broken world. It&rsquo;s not a matter of if the culture will influence our children, it&rsquo;s a matter of when and how. As such, it&rsquo;s wise to teach them discernment from a young age. Fortunately, parents can find incredible guidance in the Christian worldview.


The question is, because the enemy comes to &ldquo;steal, kill, and destroy&rdquo; (

John 10:10 ), what does living as a Christian in today&rsquo;s culture look like and how can we live out those principles for our families and neighborhoods?


Christianity provides a redemptive and hopeful what and why for engaging the culture. A Christian worldview doesn&rsquo;t directly resolve every question that arises about social issues, but it does provide a framework for discerning God&rsquo;s wisdom.


Sociologist Christian Smith from Notre Dame says the most current research demonstrates that &ldquo;the single most powerful causal influence on the religious lives of American teenagers and young adults is the religious lives of their parents.&rdquo; The home is, and always has been, the most important source of Christian worldview education children can have.
