Hi John,
You can hammer the government’s own budget consultation and you need to have your say.

You know the federal government doubled the national debt in less than a decade. Your kids and grandkids will be making payments on that debt for the rest of their lives.

Meanwhile, taxpayers are paying a billion dollars a week to cover the interest charges on the debt. Last year, the federal government spent more on interest charges than it sent to the provinces for health care. And it’s more than Canadians paid in federal sales taxes.

TODAY IS YOUR CHANCE TO PUSH BACK!

You have a golden opportunity RIGHT NOW to push the federal government to cut wasteful spending, lower your taxes and stop shovelling debt on to future generations.

The federal government just launched its pre-budget consultation.

This is YOUR chance to tell the government what you want in the fall budget.

You can fill out the government’s pre-budget consultation by clicking this link:

PRO TIP: The government’s survey is badly biased. It doesn’t even ask about cutting taxes. But you can click the “other” option and say whatever you want and that’s a great way to give your real opinion. And there’s an open-ended question at the end to give the government a piece of your mind.

Be respectful but firm and make sure you have your say.

I just want you to know that I am filling out the pre-budget survey right now. I’m telling the government that I want politicians to stop borrowing money, cut the bloated bureaucracy and end the pay raises members of Parliament take every year. It feels good to fire that message into the government’s own consultation.

Thank you for fighting for taxpayers – you’re making a difference!

All the best,

Franco Terrazzano
