Yesterday, I went on the news to talk about some incredible changes happening within the food industry. 

Over 40 American ice cream brands just signed a pledge to remove all artificial food dyes by end of 2027.

This is a huge win for children everywhere.

Someday...there may even be a day when I can buy my childhood favorite Baskin Robbins Pistachio Almond Ice Cream again...

Which actually already doesn't have artificial dyes (yay!) but it's crammed full of unnecessary emulsifiers and corn syrup.

There are still so many processed ingredients in ice cream that need to be addressed, but getting the dyes out is a great first step.

Thankfully, you don't need to wait until ice cream companies clean up their ingredients to enjoy delicious ice cream. 

I figured out how to recreate THREE of my family's favorite ice cream flavors at home: Pistachio Almond, Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chip.

They are all ridiculously heavenly & creamy–made with a handful of real ingredients. You're not going to believe how simple it is.
