Team,

Earlier this week, I introduced the PFAS National Drinking Water Standard Act of 2025, which sets out to establish a national standard for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in drinking water.

As of this year, EPA data shows that approximately 165 million Americans have drinking water contaminated with PFAS.

We need to be doing more to protect our water from these forever chemicals. Yet, the EPA announced it’s going to roll back key elements of the Safe Drinking Water Act, which will prolong harmful exposure to PFAS and exacerbate the damage caused by decades of PFAS pollution.

That’s why earlier today, I sent a letter to the EPA urging them to uphold the standards for drinking water put into place by the Biden Administration’s Safe Drinking Water Act and provide communities with clean and safe drinking water.

Every person in this country deserves access to safe drinking water. If these forever chemicals persist in our water and environment, we will be faced with a public health crisis.

Will you take action and join me in adding your name next to mine? Together, we can urge the EPA to uphold the Safe Drinking Water Act. We need to fight for safe drinking water for everyone. [[link removed]]
