Dear friend,

The fight for the future of New York City hit a new phase this week, and according to recent polling, this race is far from over.

The general election is on, and I am hitting the streets, meeting voters where they are, and hearing their concerns. On Tuesday, I met with old and new friends in the neighborhood where I grew up in Hollis, Queens. I also sat down with small business owners and residents in Harlem and went to the South Bronx.

Watch my interview with NY1’s Errol Louis here and read about our campaign relaunch in the New York Times here.

Everyone wants the same things: An affordable city where rent is reasonable and home ownership is not out of reach. A safe city with a good quality of life. A city that is competently managed and where things work.

These things are all possible, but we need a mayor who knows how to get things done. I have the track record and the achievable policies to do just that.

My opponent, Zohran Mamdani, has slick slogans with nothing to back them up and no clue about how to make his pie in the sky promises a reality.

This is the case I’ll be taking directly to you over the next several months.

The primary is over, but make no mistake, this is a race.

I appreciate your support and your vote and I’ll see you out there!

Very Truly Yours,
