Takis has been a longtime champion of democratic values in Arlington and is no stranger to strong, progressive leadership. He has never wavered in his commitment for a more inclusive community and governance that works for all. As a multilingual immigrant, Takis understands that diversity is our County’s greatest asset and has a proven track record of elevating all voices to the decision-making table.

 

There are THREE WAYS you can vote in the July 7 Special Election:

 

1. Absentee Vote by Mail: You must request your vote by mail ballot by 5pm on June 30th and it must be received by the registrar by 7pm on July 7th. If you need a witness for your absentee ballot, contact Arlington Democrats at [email protected] or you can request a “Vote From Your Car” appointment, and let election staff witness the process from the safety of your car.

 

2. Absentee In-Person: You can vote Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm or on Saturday, July 4th from 8:30am to 4:30pm at the Bozman Government Center at 2100 Clarendon Blvd.

 

Please note voting will be Closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

 

3. You can also vote on Election Day, July 7th from 6am to 7pm at your regular polling location!

 

Please note that the Wakefield HS voting location has been changed to Claremont ES.
