Things hit the fan for MAGA after Zohran won.

As the saying goes, you know you are over the target when you start taking the most flak.

The fact that Trump is saying he won’t let Zohran take the mayorship if he wins in November and is threatening to strip him of his citizenship and deport him should tell you everything you need to know.

New York Democrats overwhelmingly chose Mamdani this past June because of his defiant no holds barred approach to taking on President Trump and his platform which offers a radically new approach towards fighting for working families.

In winning, Zohran defeated Andrew Cuomo, whose campaign was blatantly funded by the same MAGA billionaires who elected Trump. Now Cuomo has entered the race as an independent.

Cuomo represents the moneyed ultra-elite within the Democratic party whose interests align with MAGA on all but a few issues. If Trump cuts Medicare or slashes the Department of Education nothing changes for these folks, but they will be impacted if Zohran Mamdani raises taxes on billionaires to pay for universal childcare.

MAGA continues to win because they pretend to be taking on the elite status quo. Catering to the wealthy is a losing strategy for Democrats and Zohran’s platform of actually fighting for working people is a model that can compete with and defeat MAGA.

So when Zohran was being attacked from all sides in the final weeks of his primary and needed help, No Dem Left Behind came to his aid. There was no way we could leave a good Democrat like him behind.
