Politicians choosing their own voters, instead of voters choosing their politicians, is toxic to our democracy. 

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced he will gerrymander Texas to stop Democrats from retaking control of the House this Midterm election. One party gerrymandering in the middle of an election cycle to redraw absurd districts that would deny the other party a majority in Congress is a vile act of cowardice and disdain for the American people.

MAGA has nothing but contempt towards the American people. 

I’ll get right to it: Texas’ gerrymander upped the stakes for my race even higher. 

We can’t control what ultimately happens in Texas, a red state with a GOP majority in the legislature. But we can control what happens in critical races like mine. I am running in NH-01 is a swingy, purple district that votes for bold candidates who fight for solutions to real problems. 

That is the fighting spirit I am bringing to this campaign—but if the MAGA GOP is going to pull out all the stops to defeat Democrats in states they control, we simply have to win here, and win big. The RNCC knows this – it's why they have already started attacking me. 

The only path to victory in this must-win district is to put up a true fighter for the people.

I have served in the Army National Guard for years, standing up as a defense attorney for our troops and for our freedoms when they needed defending. And I will serve only the people in Congress, fighting for healthcare and for equal rights for every person in this country.
