The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote on a bill to make some of the DOGE cuts permanent.

All the DOGE cuts are meaningless unless Congress makes them permanent!

For months, Congress has done nothing, even as DOGE identified the most egregious, most outrageous examples of waste, fraud, and abuse by our government with your money.

You remember just some of what Elon Musk’s DOGE team discovered you’re paying for, including creation of a Sesame Street show in Iraq, promoting DEI in Serbia, and fighting xenophobia in Venezuela.

Now, the Senate is finally ready to vote on the first DOGE rescission bill and claw back some of the wasteful money Congress appropriated.

But passage is not guaranteed – even with a Republican majority! Republicans can only lose 3 votes and still pass the bill.

And we expect they will lose three votes and need Vice President JD Vance to cast the tie-breaking vote. Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) all voted against moving the bill to the floor.

It's only $9 billion. Which is a far cry from what we were promised. But it is a start.

If they don't pass this small cut, they're never going to pass the bigger ones.

Please call your U.S. Senators right now at (202) 224-3121 and tell them to vote to pass the DOGE rescission bill, H.R. 4.

Here's a sample script:

Hello, this is (your name) from (your city). I'm calling to tell the representative to vote YES on H.R. 4, to make permanent some of the DOGE cuts.

It's only a start, but Congress needs to cut the waste, fraud, and abuse in government and reduce the spending.

Our national debt is out of control. We need to cut the spending. Please vote to make the DOGE cuts permanent and then support many more spending cuts to get our budget balanced. Thank you.
You don't need to debate their staffers. Just leave your message. Call one, then call the switchboard back and ask to speak to the other.

All that matters is you make your voice heard.

Between now and September, when the next spending bill is due, the national debt will have increased by another half a trillion dollars.

We are hurtling toward a fiscal cliff, and the big spenders in Washington are stepping on the gas.

So you and I must demand Republicans apply the brakes and pass a rescission deal NOW - and claw back some of our money being wasted by our government.
