The truth is June is shaping up to be one of our worst fundraising months all year. We knew the summer slump would hit us hard, especially since we’ve had to cancel our in-person fundraising events during this pandemic — but no one expected we’d be this far behind.

Just take a look at these numbers my team sent me this morning:

+ Our total raised for this quarter is 37% less than last last quarter
+ Individual grassroots donors decreased by one-third
+ Our average email contribution has significantly dropped

These are our real fundraising numbers. And unless we see a surge in grassroots donations in the next week, we’re at serious risk of missing our critical end-of-quarter FEC goal.
