Dear FAMMily,
FAMM hears daily from family members like you who have incarcerated loved ones suffering through lockdowns, in both federal and state facilities. There are too many lockdowns, and it’s time to push back. In support of FAMM’s new "Life on Lockdown” campaign, we’re hosting a special FAMM Advocacy Storytelling Workshop around sharing your lockdown experience in the push for reform. This workshop will highlight the experience of living through prison lockdowns — not just for incarcerated people, but also for the families who love them. You’ll learn how to connect that lived experience to a clear advocacy goal, crafting a powerful story you can share with lawmakers — whether in person or in writing — to build support for reform.
Please join us today, July 16, 6:00-7:00 p.m. Eastern time, on Zoom. You must register to attend by clicking here: https://act.famm.org/a/storytelling-workshop-5
