Voters in Southern Arizona just made their voices heard in the Democratic primary for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District — and our JanePAC-endorsed candidate, Adelita Grijalva, WON!

There’s a lot of noise in politics these days, but when someone like Adelita steps forward, you pay attention. I’ve paid attention, and clearly, voters did too.

Adelita has spent more than two decades fighting for working families — not for headlines, but for real results. It just so happens that “Adelita” means fighter , so we know she’s the leader this moment demands, John.

She was raised here. Served here. Fought here. She knows the neighborhoods, the struggles, and the resilience of this community — because Adelita’s story is one of the many stories of Southern Arizona.

She’s the proud granddaughter of a Mexican immigrant who came to this country through the Bracero Program, and the daughter of Congressman Raúl Grijalva, one of the most steadfast progressive voices in Washington. Her entire life has been shaped by a deep belief that public service is about lifting others up.

And today, I want to thank you for everything you did to help Adelita win.
