I’m excited to share some news with you: I’ve joined Majority Democrats, a new coalition of over 30 elected officials – from city halls to Congress – who are committed to helping our party win nationwide. We were recently profiled in the [New York Times]([link removed]).
This isn’t just another political group. Majority Democrats is a movement. We’re committed to reconnecting our party with the majority of Americans, especially in the places where Democrats too often fall short. Our policy program and collective of candidates consistently poll ahead of the Democratic Party as a whole, and show a path to victory and to a consistent voting majority.
As a big city Mayor, I know that real leadership means showing up, listening, and delivering. That’s what this group is about. We’re elevating new voices, and investing in new leaders who understand their communities and know how to win.
In the coming months, Majority Democrats will host events across the country, recruit and support candidates, and help shape the future of our party. And I’m proud to be part of this effort from the very beginning.
