Celebrating Three Years of 988

Three years after launching, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline continues to offer 24/7 lifesaving help to people who reach out through calls, texts, and chats.

With $7 million in state funding secured for this service over the next two years, the 988 Wisconsin Lifeline remains committed to providing judgment-free support to everyone in the state. No matter who you are or what situation you’re in, you have easy and immediate access to trained counselors equipped to meet the needs of all our communities.

Visit the 988 in Wisconsin data dashboard to see information on the accomplishments of the 988 Wisconsin Lifeline over the past three years.

You can celebrate three years of 988 and spread awareness of the service using our 988 toolkit. Share social media messages and videos, print posters, and even prepare for 988 Day on September 8 with a proclamation that can be adapted for your Tribal nation, county, municipality, or school district.
