There are only 19 weeks left until Election Day, and this week, I have three campaign updates to share with you:

1. We’re excited to welcome Jen Schmerling back to #TeamLizzie!  Jen has been on #TeamLizzie since 2017, leading our field team to victory last cycle and flipping TX-07 for the first time in 50 years.  We’re so excited to welcome her back this year as our Mobilization Director!

2. The NRCC announced that it will spend more than $2 million on TV ads targeting TX-07, fueling their efforts to unseat Lizzie this November so they can turn the House of Representatives into the House of Trump.

3. Last week, the Supreme Court handed down two landmark decisions that secure anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ workers and protect DREAMers from the threat of deportation.  With a strong LGBTQ+ community and more than 200,000 DREAMers here in Texas, these decisions are deeply personal for our community, and we were thrilled to join Houstonians in celebrating this exciting moment for progress and justice.
