Hi Friend,
Trump is trying to divide us, but we know the power of coming together.
On July 17th, five years after the passing of Congressman John Lewis, Americans across the country will gather to Make Good Trouble together. Will you join one of the 1000+ “Good Trouble Lives On” events happening across the nation?
Coined by civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis, "Good Trouble" is the action of coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change. Good Trouble is marches, protests, service work – any action where communities come together, take a stand against wrongdoings, and speak truth to power.
Are you in?
This will be a nationwide day of peaceful, nonviolent action, and organizing rooted in the tradition of the civil rights movement — but built for today’s challenges. As we work tirelessly to defend reproductive freedom around the world, it’s vital to join with other progressive partners fighting equally hard for civil rights and our democracy for a day of good trouble.
