What Americans Should Never Forget About MAGA

For years, MAGA has delivered scandal after scandal, failure after failure, cruelty after cruelty. But when it comes to holding the movement accountable, Democrats fumble the messaging over and over again by pivoting to “unity” while the right continues to sharpen its knives. The stakes are too high to keep letting these stories fade. The Democratic Party, media institutions, and advocacy groups all have a responsibility: Don’t let America forget the injustices that MAGA has fallen upon us.

Here’s what Democrats should be reminding the country of every single day until either November 2028 or until the inevitable thing that we all wish would just happen, happens (whichever comes first):

1. Trump Is Named in the Epstein Files

He knows it and he’s desperate to bury it. After years of MAGA demanding “release the list,” the FBI now says no client list exists contradicting what both Pam Bondi and Kash Patel once claimed. When Democrats tried to force a vote to release the full Epstein file today, House Republicans blocked it. But here’s the twist: Speaker Mike Johnson broke with Trump and called for the files to be made public. So did Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and even Lara Trump.

Let’s be so for real: if Trump wasn’t in those files, this would’ve been over by now. That’s why we can’t let up on the gas and can never let the American people forget what the top MAGAt has done.

2. Pete Hegseth’s “Signalgate” Was a National Security Scandal

This wasn't a simple Fox News gaffe. Petey dropped classified military coordinates in a group chat on Signal. So, let’s get this straight, American can’t have TikTok but the Secretary of Defense can use a third party app to text his war plans. Got it. Sure, Democrats blew this up at the time, but clearly not enough because 1) old Petey still has a job and 2) we don’t hear about it anymore. NEVER FORGET THAT PETE HEGSETH TEXTED IN AN UNSECURED GROUP CHAT THAT THE U.S. WAS IMMINENTLY BOMBING YEMEN.

3. COVID Wasn’t Mismanaged. It Was Politicized…to Death.

Over a million lives were lost, and MAGA made it a culture war. Trump mocked masks, buried CDC guidance, and pushed bleach as medicine. Somehow, in our collective trauma, Americans seem to have forgotten all that. We cannot forget the xenophobia Trump fueled causing unforgivable attacks on Asian communities among us or superspreader events caused by inconsistent public health guidance in red states and cities. We should never forget how these actions have consequences and those consequences were the loss of loved ones. We should never forget that it’s Trump’s fault.

4. Trump Is 100% Bribe-Able

Qatar handed the Trump White House a Boeing 747-8 luxury jet, part of a broader pattern of foreign states cozying up to the Trump family wallet while getting what they wanted in U.S. policy. This is illegal; the gift violates the Constitution's Foreign Emoluments Clause. And yet, it was accepted by Tangerine Tyrant, essentially turning the U.S. presidency into a global pay-to-play scheme. If a Democrat had done this, Fox News would still be running wall-to-wall coverage. Never forget that Trump told the world that the White House can be bought.

5. ICE Literally Kidnapped U.S. Citizens

Under Trump and ICE director Tom Homan, American citizens are being detained by our own government. There have been multiple cases of U.S. citizens - including veterans and teenagers - held illegally by ICE since Trump took office in January. He said himself, “the homegrown are next” and then threatened to send American “criminals” to foreign prisons. Trump’s immigration policy is lawless. This is government-sponsored kidnapping and Democrats cannot let up on reminding Americans that deporting its own citizens is literally the least American thing a sitting President could do.

6. Elon Musk Literally Bought Trump the Presidency…and Bragged About It

In June 2025, Elon Musk openly bragged:

“Without me, Trump would have lost the election.”

He’s not wrong. Musk funneled nearly $300 million into pro-Trump super PACs, leveraged the X algorithm to favor right-wing content, and flooded swing states with targeted ads to suppress Democratic turnout. He didn’t just donate, he engineered a digital, illegal power grab. And he’s proud of it. HOW IS THIS NOT FRONT PAGE NEWS EVERY DAY?

Never forget that Musk admitted to tipping the presidency to Trump.

Bottom line: Trump is a sex offender who killed millions of Americans during COVID, has sold out our government to foreign donors, jailed U.S. citizens, and let billionaires like Musk hijack democracy.

It's time to stop letting this man rebrand himself as anything but what he is: a misogynist, a thief, a coward, and a national security threat.
