In the past week or so, Donald Trump, Lauren Boebert, and Republicans in DC have passed a bill ripping healthcare from millions of Americans for a billionaire tax break; Trump has covered up the Epstein files; he has threatened to strip citizenship from an American because he doesn’t like them; and ICE has continued to carry out military-backed operations against American communities.

What have establishment Democrats like Chuck Schumer been doing to fight back? Tweeting about Love Island. What else would the Senate Minority Leader be doing during a national crisis?

This is not the sign of someone who is up to the task to fight for the people and defend our country from the likes of Lauren Boebert, who want to rip our country apart and loot our government for all its worth.

I’m offering a different vision. Not one of hate, but one of dedication to fighting for the people I represent. Being an elected official shouldn’t be about getting rich the way it is for Boebert, and it sure as hell shouldn’t be about sending strongly worded letters and stupid pop-culture tweets.

It should be about governing. About solving the actual problems facing our country. And about looking at a status quo that isn’t working and dedicating yourself to changing things for the better.
