Far-left progressive activists want to erase our nation’s history and replace it with a sinister, warped version: that the United States was not founded in 1776, but in 1619, when the first slaves were brought to America’s shores.
And, through efforts like the New York Times’ 1619 Project and its school curriculum, the left is now teaching that false message directly to our kids.
The leftists who created the 1619 Project and now promote it want our children to believe that our country is irredeemably flawed and that America was founded to protect slavery, not to advance God-given rights and self-government.
And these same leftists are cheering the riots, looting, and destruction of our country that we’ve seen night after night.
In fact, when one writer called these weeks of violence the “1619 riots,” the creator of the 1619 Project replied, “It would be an honor. Thank you.”
Fellow American, it’s time for everyday Americans like you and me to decide.
Will we speak up for our country’s true principles and founding date, or will we surrender our nation to the radical leftists who want to see it destroyed?
I know which path I choose, and I’m confident I can count on you to stand beside me.
