On Tuesday, the PA House advanced a state budget that includes $76.5 million in violence prevention funding with bipartisan support. This funding is a $20 million increase over the previous year’s state funding, which is a significant win considering the challenging fiscal landscape for the Commonwealth.
This is a major victory worth celebrating, but our work isn’t done yet. The budget still needs to pass in the PA Senate.
I’m hearing that the PA Senate is returning on Thursday. Can you use our tool to quickly tell Senate Majority Leader Pittman to pass the budget and send it to the Governor’s desk for signature? [[link removed]]

Every day of delay risks the violence prevention infrastructure that has been built over the last four years. With this much at stake, we can’t afford to let the pressure off now.
Thank you for your vigilance.
