Since I last wrote to you on June 29, something remarkable has happened.
Thanks to your generosity — and the incredible outpouring of support from Greens across the country — we’ve now reduced our election debt by more than $130,000.
That’s real progress. And it’s giving us room to breathe.
And there’s more good news. Green Party Electoral District Associations (EDAs) across Canada are now stepping forward too — making contributions, offering short-term loans, and rallying their communities to help pay down our election debt and bring the party back to financial health.
They know we’re in this together. And they know that a stronger national party means a stronger presence in every corner of the country.
If you're part of an EDA and you're able to contribute — even in a small way — we hope you will. And if you’re one of the many individual supporters making monthly gifts or pitching in when you can: thank you. Every single act of generosity helps lift the weight.
So what comes next?
This summer, we’re out in our communities.
From coast to coast to coast, Greens are engaging with voters, growing our support, and laying the groundwork to elect more Green MPs.
Whether it’s championing the kind of nation-building projects that will power a clean energy future, tackling the housing crisis and the rising cost of living, or fighting for a fair voting system, this is the work we’re committed to.
But to keep doing it and grow our impact, we need to eliminate our election debt and rebuild our capacity.
