New Transfer Reports
Transfer degrees and policies in Washington play a big role in helping students earn bachelor’s degrees. In the 2021-2022 academic year, 43% of public bachelor’s degree earners were transfer students.
WSAC invites you to review two new reports:

The 2025 Washington Transfer Efficiency Update. This quantitative report looks at the share of enrollment in transfer associate degrees at Community and Technical Colleges (CTCs). It also analyzes transfer degree earners at CTCs and bachelor’s degree earners who were transfer students at public and private colleges and universities in the state.

Beyond Transfer Degrees: Opportunities for Future Learning. This qualitative brief looks at Washington’s transfer ecosystem. The brief highlights current opportunities for future research and learning to help transfer students succeed.
