On Saturday, a group of Israelis brutally lynched 21 year old American citizen, Sayfollah Musallet, who was protesting illegal land seizures while visiting family in the West Bank.

 

Sayfollah, who helped his father run an ice cream store in Tampa, Florida, was beaten to death brutally over the course of three hours. When medics arrived to save his life, the Israelis blocked their path to ensure that he bled out and succumbed to his wounds.  



Anytime a horrific crime like this occurs, remember that it is only a matter of time before these atrocities come home to America.

Israel is the proving ground for the new tactics that the far-right is developing. What happens in Israel will soon arrive on American shores. Today it was a 21 year old American killed in the West Bank, lynched by Israelis with impunity. Tomorrow it will be American youngsters lynched on the streets of an American city by ICE agents or Trump supporters, and just like in Israel they won’t face punishment.

More than sixty Democrats in the Congressional Progressive caucus have accepted hush money from the Israel-lobby will be to blame when the bloodbath being meted out by Israel comes home to American shores. Progressives are supposed to be fighting against this, not underwriting it. 

Clean up the Caucus is making these “progressive” members of Congress face consequences for their support of Israeli brutality.
