A loss here would’ve meant an extreme MAGA majority on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court that would’ve taken this key swing state out of the cards for Dems in 2026 and in 2028—where Trump is suggesting he’ll seek reelection. We won here because we mobilized the might of the entire Democratic party around this singular race. In November 2025, Dems in Pennsylvania face a court election with identical stakes but this time we are heading into it woefully unprepared: Unless we act quickly, Democrats are on track for a Pearl Harbor moment in Pennsylvania. The consequence of a Democratic loss in the November 2025 Pennsylvania Supreme Court election means the permanent loss of Pennsylvania as a swing state for Democrats, bringing us one step closer to permanent MAGA electoral control. In Wisconsin, we were able to compete with the tens of millions that MAGA pumped into the race because that race was the only show in town—barely any Democrats had announced their 2026 campaigns meaning Democrats could focus almost solely on Wisconsin. We do not have this luxury for the Pennsylvania 2025 Supreme Court fight.
