We’re still falling a few hundred dollars short of our midnight fundraising goal, so in just a minute, I’m going to ask you to pitch in and help us hit it.

But before I do, I want to talk about what your donation means. Because even though these fundraising deadlines are important, I don’t want them to be the only reason you chip in. I want you to chip in because you believe in what I’m fighting for.

So here’s what your donation means:

It means you believe in my work to take on government corruption and push back against Donald Trump’s appalling attacks on the Constitution.

It means you believe every person should have the opportunity to pursue their American Dream, not just the ultra-wealthy.

And it means you’re willing to put in the work to defend this competitive, must-win seat and take back control of Congress next year.
