instrumental in helping pass the The Americans with Disabilities Act
(ADA) 35 years ago. The federal protections this offers ensures
millions of people can continue to grow their confidence as they
thrive in society.

But passing the ADA was just the beginning, friend.
It's critically important that we keep using the protections
this law offers to prevent discrimination and improve public spaces
for the more than 1 in 4 Americans who are disabled.
