NCLEJ celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2025.
For 60 years, we’ve been litigating, advocating, and organizing to create structural change for a better future. We were founded at Columbia University during the Civil Rights Era, and over the decades we’ve won legal victories up to the Supreme Court that have led to reforms benefiting thousands of low-income people across the nation.
Now, the extreme administration of Donald Trump is taking aim at nonprofits, law firms, and the low-income communities we serve.
