The Texan recently asked candidates across the state what their stance was on the ridiculous “Defund the Police” movement.
Of course, I don’t support the so-called defunding of police. If we want to have a real conversation about ensuring justice for every American and reducing overall government spending - sign me up. But I will not countenance the radical undermining of our community safety.
There was one candidate that I couldn’t help but notice didn’t reply.
So where’s Wendy Davis?
Does she support defunding the police?
Davis loves to talk about her radical policies, pushing her abortion-on-demand agenda, but when she’s asked the tough questions, she’s oddly silent.
She didn’t speak out against ANTIFA when President Trump designated them a terrorist organization for wreaking havoc on our communities, and she’s not speaking out against the Defund the Police movement now.
It’s because she’s afraid of upsetting her radical liberal base.
She knows that Nancy Pelosi wants the police defunded so her hands are pretty much tied.
This is why Wendy Davis will never represent Texas’s 21st District in Congress.
She can’t afford to say no to Pelosi on the issues that matter to Texas.
If Davis can’t speak out against the Defund the Police movement now, how can anyone expect her to stand up for what is right in the halls of the United States Congress?
Wendy Davis needs to stop playing to her radical extremist donors from New York and California and condemn this ridiculous movement.
