Immigrants make our communities stronger
Dear Friend,
Immigrants make our communities stronger. They are parents, students, neighbors, workers, business owners, and friends.
But today, our government is taking measures to detain and deport more people. Just last week, the Trump administration canceled Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for another 75,000 people living and working in the U.S. This takes away legal status and will lead to more families being torn apart.

As a Quaker organization, the American Friends Service Committee believes that every person has inherent worth and should be treated with dignity, no matter where they were born. Our elected officials should uphold these values, too.
Help us send a message: We don’t want armed government agents disrupting the peace and safety of our communities. We shouldn’t waste billions of taxpayer dollars on detention and deportation. What we need is an immigration system that is welcoming, dignified, and fair.
Sign the petition today. [link removed] Thank you for speaking out with immigrants and allies across the country.
In peace,
Amy Gottlieb
U.S. Migration Director
