Welcome to All* the Tea, our abortion justice newsletter where we give you the good, the bad, and the in-between news about our movement.
Right now is a time of extraordinary challenge, there's no way around that. Our political climate is probably the most troubling it has been in the last 90 years, with a very real threat of America slipping into an oligarchical fascist regime.
Already, we have seen extremists in Congress fall in line by slashing Medicaid and defunding Planned Parenthood and other reproductive health clinics. The threats of this moment cannot be understated.
But these threats give us an opportunity and a call to action: that with sound strategy, bold and courageous ideas, and by doing the pull-up-our-sleeves work, we can achieve the changes needed to push our vision and goals forward--toward a new future that realizes true reproductive justice for our communities.
All* Above All stands ready to rise and meet the challenges of this moment. Even in these difficult times, we're proud to share our wins and the momentum we're building in communities across the country.

In the Legislature
In Maryland, we helped support the passage of HB930, a bill that directs $25 million in surplus federal exchange dollars toward a grant program that supports uninsured and underinsured folks seeking abortion care.

We are proud to support Black maternal health in Pennsylvania! We are building momentum alongside reproductive justice champion Rep. La'Tasha Mayes' legislation HB1234, a bill to expand state-level Medicaid coverage for blood pressure monitors for home use as a pregnancy-related service.

And in Federal updates, the 119th EACH Act is coming soon! This landmark piece of legislation will end the discriminatory Hyde Amendment that withholds abortion coverage from those qualified and enrolled in the Medicaid health insurance program, as well as anyone who receives coverage from federally funded programs.
