Friend,

Donald Trump’s spending bill is about to affect every Michigander. Here’s why:

The Michigan Medicaid program is set to take a $15 billion hit as a result of the Republican-backed spending bill.

This means patients not getting care, hospitals closing, and jobs being lost. But it also means dollars that would go toward education, roads, clean water, and other critical issues might have to go toward closing this $15 billion gap created by Republicans.

Michigan Republicans, including John James, Tom Barrett, and Bill Huizenga, all voted in favor of this bill.

This bill only passed the U.S. House by 4 votes, Friend, and these 3 Republicans are in vulnerable Congressional Districts that we can flip and elect Democrats, bringing us closer to taking back the House in 2026 to stop Trump’s dangerous agenda.

Will you make a contribution today so we can elect Michigan Democrats and hold Republicans accountable in 2026? We are ready to organize and fight back every step of the way.
